Many establishments anticipate an increase in business activities and customer demands during the summer season. These include parks, amusement centers, summer camps, fast food chains, restaurants, stores and malls. Since the increased activity and demand are triggered by teens themselves who are out to have fun, these establishments hire students and teens to attract their fellow youngsters.

Some summer jobs combine fun with earning. And as such, jobs at summer camps remain as the most popular job for the season. Camp counselors, lifeguards, activity coordinators, game coaches and the like make use of the students’ talents and interest in running a holiday camp.
